UNC-Wilmington Vs. Georgia State Final Score: Panthers Claim 75-61 Win

The Georgia State Panthers bounced back from last Saturday's loss to George Mason with a 75-61 win over UNC-Wilmington at the GSU Sports Arena. The Panthers outscored the Seahawks by 14 over the final 20 minutes to claim the victory.

James Fields led the way for the Panthers with 21 points on 9-13 shooting from the field and also recorded seven steals in the game. Jihad Ali and Devonta White chipped in 13 points each while Eric Buckner finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Georgia State knocked down 48 percent of its shots and only committed five turnovers in the game.

UNC-Wilmington's Keith Rendleman scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the loss. K.K. Simmons and Adam Smith each finished with nine points.

The win improves the Panther's conference record to 4-1 and ties them atop the Colonial standings with George Mason and Old Dominion.
