Four-star running back Todd Gurley has announced he'll play for the Georgia Bulldogs instead of the Clemson Tigers. Head over here for an in-depth scouting report on Gurley as a prospect.
If it seems like the Dawgs are loading up at running back depth to avoid having to convert another linebacker to the backfield, you might be right. Then again, murmurs have spread that top back commit Keith Marshall may have a knee issue, leaving Mark Richt with little option to keep taking advantage of UGA's rep as Tailback U.
Of course, native North Carolinians Marshall and Gurley count each other as friends, so having to share the ball might not be quite the quandary it would be for other star recruits.
Three-star Quayvon Hicks of Blackshear, GA is also in the mix as a current commit.
