Mercer Vs. Kennesaw State Final Score: Owls Fall To Bears, 81-51

The Kennesaw St. Owls losing streak continued at five games and they have lost 12 of their last 13 games as they were crushed by the Mercer Bears 81-51 Friday night. At the half, Kennesaw State kept the game close at the half where they trailed by only 11 points, and started the second half on a good run to cut into Mercer's lead to trail by only four. However, once Kennesaw State made the score 34-30, Mercer went on a 12-0 run and never looked back in this game.

The Kennesaw State starters did not have a great game as only two of the five starters put up points on the board with Markeith Cummings scoring 10 points with Romain Henry contributing with five points. They also had four total players scored in double figures at 10 points.

However that was no match for Mercer's bench who scored 70 of 81 points from their bench and were led by Langston Hall who led all scorers with 17 points. A big difference tonight was that Mercer shot lights out by making 61 percent of their shots compared to only 35 percent to Kennesaw State.

Kennesaw State's next game is on Jan. 19 to take on the Charlotte 49ers.
