As the deadline to get commitments from high school players nears, Palm Beach Gardens' offensive tackle Avery Young is in high demand. He's considered a developmental recruit who most believe needs to put on a significant amount of weight before he can play at the college level but that isn't stopping SEC schools from scheduling visits. According to his high school coach, Chris Davis', Twitter account, one of the coaches visiting the 6-foot-6, 270-pound lineman is the University of Georgia's Mark Richt.
Okay, here is Avery's visit schedule: Richt, Bobo and Friend tomorrow morning. Muschamp, Hill and not sure who else tomorrow evening.
Thursday for AY56: Auburn will visit with Loefler, Grimes and Trooper. Canes will bring by Golden and Kehoe among others I'm sure.
It's believed that Young favors the Bulldogs while Auburn is a close second to sign the offensive lineman. Each school interested in Young will need to convince him to pick them this weekend as National Signing Day is just over a week away.
