Georgia Tech Vs. Alabama Final Score: Tech Closes Out Non Conference Slate With 73-48 Loss

Turnovers and a lackluster shooting night was more than Georgia Tech could overcome as they dropped their final non conference game to Alabama 73-48.

The Yellow Jackets fell behind 40-22 at halftime and weren't able to threaten in the second half. Trevor Releford hit all eight of his field goal attempts and finished with 17 points. Tony Mitchell netted 14 points while Andrew Steele and JaMychal Green each had nine.

Kammeon Holsey led the Yellow Jackets with 14 points and freshman forward Julian Royal added 10. Mfon Udofia and Brandon Reed each finished with eight. Glen Rice Jr was a non-factor with five points on 2-8 shooting.

Tech closes the non-conference part of its schedule with a 7-6 record and will open ACC play on Saturday when it hosts Duke at Philips Arena.
