The University of Georgia's annual "G-Day" Spring Game has been announced for Saturday, April 14. according to the Athens Banner-Herald's Marc Weiszer.
Weiszer is also reporting that three injured Bulldogs will participate in spring drills. Running back Ken Malcome (concussion) and nose guard John Jenkins (AC joint, left shoulder) will participate in practice, while wide receiver Chris Conley will have surgery on his injured wrist and have limited participation this Spring.
Pending the draft declarations of a few key Bulldogs, Georgia could return 18 starters from their Outback Bowl team, setting them as an early favorite to repeat as SEC Eastern Division Champions and a SEC Championship contender.
"We’ve got a whole lot coming back," said linebacker Jarvis Jones, who led the SEC with 13 1/2 sacks. "I’m really looking forward to the offseason and the season coming up. We’re definitely going to be better. We definitely are going to be bigger, stronger, faster."
Also scheduled for Spring practice will be top commit, running back Keith Marshall, who will enroll at UGA in January.
