The Georgia Bulldogs came into this game riding a five-game winning streak, but the Alabama Crimson Tide ended that run and handed Georgia their first conference loss of the year by beating them 74-59. Alabama ended the first half by leading 36-28 over Georgia. The second half has more competitive but Georgia was unable to chip into the Alabama lead at all.

Alabama had three players score in double figures with Trevor Lacey who came off the bench to lead all Alabama players with 19 points and made three of four three-point shots. Georgia's Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led all scores with 22 points, but it was not enough to keep Georgia in this game.
