Few games this Saturday are anticipated as the SEC clash between Georgia and South Carolina. Both teams are at 5-0 heading into their showdown this weekend.
South Carolina has been declared a 3-point favorite in a decision that probably has more to do withe Gamecocks being at home than anything else.
Over the last 10 seasons, Georgia has defeated South Carolina seven times, but the Gamecocks have taken the last two games. Last year they grabbed a 45-42 win on the road.
So far in 2012, South Carolina has been the safer pick than Georgia. The Gamecocks are 4-1 against the spread, while the Bulldogs are 2-3.
South Carolina has had the better defense this season, allowing 11 points per game compared to Georgia's 22 ppg, but the Bulldogs offense has been more explosive, outscoring the Gamecocks 48.2 ppg to 36.6 ppg.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Williams-Brice Stadium.
