The Georgia Bulldogs suffered a heartbreaking 57-56 loss to South Carolina to snap the Bulldogs two game winning streak. Gerald Robinson's three with 46 seconds remaining put the Bulldogs up 56-55. The Gamecocks answered back with a malik Cooke bucket that put South Carolina back in front 57-56.
Robinson got his shot blocked on Georgia's next possession forcing Dustin Ware to foul Bruce Ellington to stop the clock. Ellington missed the front end of the one-and-one and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope missed a three-pointer with six seconds left that would have put the Bulldogs on top.
Gerald Robinson did a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs finishing with 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added nine points while Dustin Ware finished with eight points and five assists.
Malik Cooke led the Gamecocks with 13 points and Brenton Williams added 10 points off the bench.
