Georgia Football Recruiting 2012: National Signing Day Recap

Currently Georgia's class sits at 18 players, although it could receive a shot in the arm should the school finally receive Josh Harvey-Clemons LOI. As it stands currently, the Bulldogs are rated as having the No. 8 class in the new look 14 team SEC conference according to Rivals.com

Alabama has the conference's top-rated class and it may be the best in the nation. The Florida Gators are No. 2 and are followed by Auburn at No. 3 whom the Bulldogs lost out on both JaQuay Williams and Avery Young. Texas A&M is No. 4 while LSU rounds out the top five at No. 5.

The Tennessee Volunteers are at No. 6 and followed closely behind by South Carolina who is rated one spot ahead of the Bulldogs. Georgia is rated slightly ahead of Vanderbilt and Mississippi State while Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss and Kentucky round out the rest of the rankings.
