SEC Basketball Standings: Florida Surging, Georgia Collapsing

The Georgia Bulldogs (10-12, 1-7) have lost seven of their last eight games, all in conference play, and are fast fading into obscurity in the SEC basketball league standings. Meanwhile, the Florida Gators (19-4 9-1) have emerged as the best possible contender to knock off No. 1 nationally ranked Kentucky (23-1, 9-0 SEC), thanks in part to emerging Gators center Patric Young. The Dawgs have two games this week, against the 4-4 Arkansas Razorbacks at home, and a Saturday road game at Mississippi State (5-3 SEC).
