Former Georgia Player Nick Marshall Enrolls At Kansas Community College

The Georgia secondary took a huge hit when head coach Mark Richt dismissed three players - two defensive backs - from the 2011 signing class - but now one former Bulldog corner will have a shot a quarterback in junior college. Nick Marshall will transfer to Garden City Community College in Kansas, according to a report by Albany, Georgia's WALB TV.

The report quotes Marshall's high school coach, Wilcox County's Mark Ledford, that Marshall will get a shot to play quarterback at Garden City, a position he played in high school. The departure of Marshall and fellow DB Chris Sanders will create depth concerns for the Bulldogs, who return 10 starters on defense but lose corner and return specialist Brandon Boykin to the NFL Draft. Starting corner Sanders Commings might be facing a suspension after his arrest on domestic violence charges.
