As always, plenty of the top recruits for the upcoming recruiting class play for Peach State high schools. Grayson defensive end Robert Ndemkiche has become the top target for 2013, virtually by consensus, but he's not alone. The new Rivals 250 list came out today, with linebacker Reuben Foster of Troup coming in at No. 2.
In all, 19 players from Georgia appear, including four-stars Montravius Adams (DT, Dooly County), Trey Johnson (LB, Central Gwinnett), Tray Matthews (DB, Newnan), Isaac Rochell (DE, Eagle's Landing Christian), Johnathan McCrary (QB, McDonough), Johnny O'Neal (LB, West Laurens), Carl Lawson (DE, Milton), Demarcus Robinson (WR, Peach County), Kelsey Griffin (DT, Mill Creek), Tyren Jones (RB, Walton), Shamire DeVine (OL, Tri Cities) and so forth.
Georgia Bulldogs commits include Matthews, Florida athlete Derrick Henry and four-star quarterback Brice Ramsey from Camden County. Everybody else will probably play for the Alabama Crimson Tide, just based on how these things tend to work. Sigh.
