Malcolm Mitchell: Expectations For Isaiah Crowell Have Been 'Unfair'

In an interview with reporters Thursday morning, WR Malcolm Mitchell made a series of revealing comments about fellow freshman Isaiah Crowell and the burden of expectations he faced coming into Georgia as one of the most hyped recruits in the last decade:

"The person I've been most impressed with and the person and everyone who I think has been wrongly scrutinized the whole year was Isaiah. You ask these high expectations out of a kid who's 18 years old, it's such a different game than high school. Let's face it, he had instant success and people were so demanding of his savior, this idea of `Oh, the next Herschel.' That's just unfairly suited to him.

Of course, as Crowell will soon find out, all that really matters in terms of how fans perceive him is how he performs on the football field next season.
