Georgia Vs. Kentucky Final Score: Bulldogs Hammered By Wildcats 79-49

The Kentucky Wildcats are ranked No. 1 in the country for a reason. The Georgia Bulldogs found out all of those reasons Thursday night as they were hammered by the Wildcats 79-49 at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats dominated in every facet of the game holding the Bulldogs to just 34 percent shooting while hitting 49 percent themselves. Georgia connected on 3-19 shots from beyond-the-arc while Kentucky was 15-27.

Darius Miller hit five threes for the Wildcats and finished with a game-high 17 points. Doron Lamb pitched in 13 points off the bench while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 12. Anthony Davis finished with nine points, eight rebounds and three blocks on the night.

If there was a silver lining for Georgia in the game it was the play of Donte Williams who finished with 17 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added nine points and Dustin Ware had seven for the Bulldogs.

Kentucky improves to 29-1 on the season and a perfect 15-0 in SEC play. Georgia falls to 13-16 with a 4-11 conference mark.
