The 2012 SEC Tournament Championship is set after Kentucky and Vanderbilt both advance on Saturday with wins over Florida and Ole Miss.
Kentucky held on to defeat Florida 74-71 in what was a close game throughout. Doron Lamb led all Wildcats scorers with 16 points while freshman sensation Anthony Davis added 15 points and 12 rebounds. Erik Murphy scored a game-high 24 points to lead Florida while freshman Bradley Beal added 20.
Vanderbilt arrives in the championship game after a 65-53 win over Ole Miss in the semifinals. John Jenkins scored 23 points to lead the Commodores and Lance Goulbourne added 10 points and 12 rebounds. Jarvis Summers led the Rebels with 15 points while Ladarius White added 13.
Sunday's championship game is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be televised on ABC
