The Kentucky Wildcats dominance this season has all but clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournamenteven before Sunday's SEC Tournament final against Vanderbilt. The Wildcats chief competition was Syracuse who was upset in the semifinals of the Big East tournament. As the tournament's No. 1 seed, the Wildcats would be staying close to home in the South Regional to be held in Atlanta.

Kentucky continued its push for 19 wins in 19 SEC games and the No. 1 overall seed (which it has all but locked up anyway) by defeating Florida. The Wildcats, who currently head up the South region, will take on Vanderbilt for the conference's auto-bid this afternoon (1 p.m. ET, ABC).

North Carolina is all but assured of a No. 1 seed and is likely headed to Greensboro for the first round of the tournament as part of the St Louis Regional.
