It didn't take long for a major upset to occur in the 2012 Women's NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately for the Georgia Lady Bulldogs, it was at their expense, as the No. 13 seed Marist Red Foxes upset the Lady Bulldogs on Sunday, 76-70.

Georgia could not stop Corielle Yarde, who led the Red Foxes with 21 points. Yarde also added seven rebounds in the winning effort for Marist.

Khaalidah Miller scored 21 points of her own for the Lady Bulldogs, but it wasn't enough.

Marist simply outplayed Georgia in nearly every facet of the game. The Red Foxes shot 52% from the field, converting 24-of-46 shots -- compared to Georgia's 40% shooting, converting just 27-of-67 shots.

The Red Foxes also got to the foul line much more than Georgia did, as Marist converted 21-of-25 free throws. Georgia, meanwhile, only got to the foul line eight times, converting just six of the eight attempts.
