The 2012 McDonald's All-American game, which features the top high school basketball players in the country, is scheduled to tip off on Wednesday, March 28, at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Two players in the game come from the great state of Georgia. Shaq Goodwin, a 6'8" power forward from Southwest DeKalb High School, will be playing for the East in the McDonald's game. Goodwin received offers from Florida, Tennessee, Miami and Georgia, but ultimately decided to commit to Memphis.
Georgia Bulldogs fans will be able to watch Tony Parker, a 6'9" center from Lithonia, Georgia. Parker is still undecided about where he'll attend school next year, but he is considering the Bulldogs. Georgia is facing stiff competition, though, as UCLA, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Memphis and Ohio State have all made offers to Parker as well.
Parker and Goodwin are both considered to be the two top high school basketball prospects in the state of Georgia.
