Bacarri Rambo To Appeal Suspension, Possibly Enter NFL Supplemental Draft

Georgia safety Bacarri Rambo will appeal his four game suspension for a drug violation, according the Athens Banner-Herald's DogBytes Online, and there's a chance the rising senior will enter the NFL supplemental draft if the suspension isn't overturned.

Rambo was suspended for failing his second drug test as a Bulldog after unknowingly eating pot brownies while on spring break, according to his high school coach. Rambo was also suspended for the 2011 season opener against Boise State.

Rambo is slated to be suspended for four games by UGA - vs. Buffalo, at Missouri, vs. Florida Atlantic and vs. Vanderbilt. The move would hit a defense already depleted by suspension even harder, especially in the secondary. Cornerbacks Branden Smith and Sanders Commings have both been arrested in the offseason, and three players (two DBs) were dismissed from the team in January after their role in a dorm room theft.

Linebacker Alec Ogletree is also facing a suspension of two games, the reason why has not yet been made public.
