Georgia looks to mimic 2008 and start another spoiler's run to the SEC Tournament title, while Mississippi State needs to cement its status as a solid at-large team in the NCAA Tournament with a revenge win of sorts over UGA. The two teams will meet very late (10 p.m. local time!) to close the first day of SEC Tournament action in New Orleans.
UGA beat State in their sole regular season meeting. The UGA Dogs used 20 points from freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to defeat State 70-68 in overtime in Starkville on Feb. 11. The win was Georgia's first over a Top 25 opponent on the road since 2004, and started a losing streak that's almost pushed MSU off the bubble.
