Mississippi State Vs. Georgia Final Score: UGA Pulls 71-61 Upset

Gerald Robinson poured in 23 points as the Georgia Bulldogs bounced sixth seeded Mississippi State 71-61 in the first round of the 2012 SEC Tournament. Gerald Robinson poured in 23 points to lead the Bulldogs who advance to take on Vanderbilt on Friday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Dustin Ware chipped in 13 points each for the Bulldogs while Nemanja Djurisic and Donte Williams finished with 11 each. Georgia hit 51 percent of its shots in the game and only turned the ball over seven times.

Jalen Steele led Mississippi State with 19 points and Brian Bryant added 11. Dee Bost finished with 10 points and six assists. Mississippi State hit 39 percent of its field goal attempts and had 15 turnovers in the game.
