The Bulldogs have advanced to the second round of the 2012 SEC Tournament. BUT WHICH BULLDOGS? The Georgia Bulldogs that is, as they defeated the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, , in the Thursday night closer. The upset win earns the Dawgs a shot at the Vanderbilt Commodores, the SEC's No. 3 seed.
The Mississippi Rebels, LSU Tigers, and Alabama Crimson Tide also survived Round 1 in New Orleans. Only UGA came up with a win that went against chalk, and will thus face perhaps the longest odds in the second round. LSU against Kentucky sounds like some long odds too. Long odds all around.
