The Georgia Bulldogs overcame some serious foul trouble to their front court to take a 25-24 lead over Vanderbilt at halftime. Georgia's bench outscored Vandy's 17-0 in the first-half to help give the Bulldogs the lead.
Offensively it is a team effort for the Bulldogs who were led in the first half by freshman John Cannon's six points. Dustin Ware added five while Nemanja Djurisic and John Florveus have four each. Donte Williams, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Marcus Thornton all picked up two fouls in the first half forcing Mark Fox to play 11 different players in the game.
John Jenkins has eight points for Vanderbilt while Brad Tinsley added seven. Festus Ezeli hit all three of his field goal attempts and has six at the half.
