UGA Spring Football: Faton Bauta Out Of G-Day Game With Minor Knee Injury

Freshman quarterback Faton Bauta joins the list of players that will not take part in the G-Day game on Saturday. Bauta has a minor knee issue that will prevent him from suiting up. Bauta joins a list that includes fellow freshman Keith Marshall and sophomore Malcolm Mitchell who will also miss the game.

Both Mitchell and Marshall are out with hamstring injuries. Richard Samuel suffered a concussion earlier in spring practice but may be able to give it a go on Saturday. Safety Shawn Williams will also be held out of Saturday's game with a knee injury that Richt said wasn't serious and would not require surgery. He is expected to begin workouts again soon.
