Georgia Basketball Recruiting: Tony Parker To Announce Decision Friday

Once folks got past the idea that a conversation regarding "Tony Parker" wasn't in relation with the guard from the San Antonio Spurs, college basketball fans got their wits about them and began conceiving the idea that the McDonald's All-American big man could be coming to their campus real soon.

After denying reports that Parker would take his talents to Westwood to be a member of the UCLA Bruins, this much is clear. Parker will make his highly-anticipated college decision on Friday, and his finalists are UCLA, the Duke Blue Devils, Georgia Bulldogs, Kansas Jayhawks and Ohio State Buckeyes. Miller Grove High School coach Sharman White came out on Sunday and confirmed that Parker is still uncommitted but ready for this to end.

"Tony is ready for it to get over with. He’s planning on doing it on Friday. We haven’t set a time yet but when we do, we’ll let everybody know." -- Miller Grove head coach Sharman White

Tony Parker stands 6-foot-9 and weighs 280 pounds. Parker's ranked by ESPNU as the nation’s No. 21 overall prospect and led Miller Grove to four straight state championships.
