Mark Richt confirmed Tuesday night what many were already expecting that incoming freshman John Theus will most certainly be in the mix at tackle once fall practice comes around. Richt said Theus will be candidate for playing time and could even start at one of the tackle positions.
Richt said coaching staff is "thrilled" to see what freshman John Theus will do at OT. He said he has a chance to play and even start.

Kenarious Gates figures to be a starter somewhere on the offensive line but could settle in at right-tackle or at guard once Theus is on campus and becomes more acquainted. Watts Dantzler is another candidate who figures to play but may have a hard time nailing down a starting position. Xavier Ward, Hunter Long and Greg Pyke are others who could get into the mix at tackle.
