Orlando area linebacker Ryne Rankin became UGA's eleventh commitment for the 2013 class after he was offered earlier in the week. Rankin is the second commitment today for the Bulldogs following wide receiver Kyrin Priester.

Rankin is a 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker who was rated as the No. 6 LB in Florida and the No. 56 player overall. He is described as an exceptional tackler with a nose for the football and had taken visits to NC State, Penn State and Tennessee among others. He selected the Bulldogs after receiving at least a dozen offers from the likes of Louisville, Cincinnati, NC State and Kansas.
