While the Bulldogs have picked up a couple of commitments in the last week they could be on the verge of losing one. 5-star running back Derrick Henry is still committed to the Bulldogs but may be considering flipping to Alabama after acknowledging that he will take a visit to Tuscaloosa on June 8. Henry has also indicated that his commitment to the Bulldogs isn't as solid as it once was.
"I started talking to my coach. We had a serious talk. We talked about the positives of Alabama. We feel like Alabama is the place to go ... I am not saying my coaches are swaying me to go to Alabama. They are not doing that at all. We are just laying out everything. The fact Alabama has coach [Nick Saban] and all the things they bring to the table really sticks out to me."
If Henry does pick the Tide he will be the third running back commitment for their 2013 class which sounds like a less than ideal situation for a player looking for early playing time. Of course with Isaiah Crowell, Keith Marshall and Todd Gurley the situation might not look any better in Athens.
