UGA Football Offseason: Malcolm Mitchell Already Splitting Time Between Offense, Defense

Malcolm Mitchell is expected to become a very important two way player for the Bulldogs come the fall and he is already making the transition during informal workouts this summer. Quarterback Aaron Murray indicates that Mitchell has continued to work with him in the passing game this summer.

"He's already been working with us. He just goes out there. He's always out there. Playing DB, playing receiver. If we have a ton of DBs out there, he'll just move over to receiver. If not a lot of DBs are out there, he'll play DB. He just goes back and forth pretty much. He'll be ready to go offense or defense this season."

Mitchell is expected to spend most of preseason practice at defensive back as the Bulldogs look to shore up some depth issues during the early part of the season. From the sounds of things though he is already working on going both ways.
