SB Nation went to the Nike headquarters in Oregon and Bud Elliot had a chance to evaluate a host of top high school prospects. Among them was Alvin Kamara or Norcoss.
Kamara is a four-star recruit and considered to be an all-purpose back. Here is Elliot's evaluation from the Nike showcase:
Alvin Kamara, Norcoss (GA) -- He showed the versatility to stretch the field vertically and finish plays, becoming a favored target for his quarterback Max Browne.
Kamara gave this quote, via CBSSports.com:
"That's basically what coach (Dan) Hawkins wanted to do, get me and Ryan Green on the same team and work it," Kamara said. "It's kind of formed around me and him, the two running backs. We're getting some good looks, getting the ball and catching it. We have great receivers outside too with Alvin Bailey from Florida and a few other guys that are real good too."
