2013 Georgia Football Recruiting: Derrick Henry Back In Contention For UGA?

Former Georgia verbal commitment Derrick Henry, a five-star running back from Yulee, Fla., has been considered a loss for the Bulldogs since he dropped UGA and named Alabama as his leader following a visit this spring. However, as the AJC's Michael Carvell reports, Henry is expected to attend "Dawg Night," a camp for prospects on Georgia's campus. This would be the first time Henry's been back to the UGA campus since de-committing, and would give Georgia a solid chance to make up ground on the Tide:

After de-committing from UGA last month, some speculated that Henry would’ve committed to Alabama by now, or at least focus his sole attention on the Crimson Tide. There were some doubts that Henry would even show up on UGA’s campus again after the change of heart.

But Henry said he will be at "Dawg Night" – giving UGA’s coaches a prime opportunity to court him again.
