Jarvis Jones, Bacarri Rambo Headline UGA All-SEC Selections

In another reflection of the conventional wisdom that the power in the SEC has shifted to the West Division, giving Georgia a relatively easy path to the SEC Championship Game, the Bulldogs had eight players named to one of the three pre-season All-SEC teams for the 2012 season.

That puts the school in fourth place in the conference, behind -- wait for it -- Alabama (11), LSU (11) and Arkansas (10).

OLB Jarvis Jones and S Bacarri Rambo, in spite of the four-game suspension he received for failing a drug test in the off-season, were the only two Bulldogs named to the first team.

The second team features QB Aaron Murray, who is behind first-team QB Tyler Wilson of Arkansas, as well as DT John Jenkins.

Four Georgia players -- WR/DB Malcolm Mitchell, DE Abry Jones, ILB Alec Ogletree and CB Sanders Commings -- round out the third team.
