South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier taking the podium at SEC Media Days is always one of the highligts of the event. Spurrier didn't disappoint on Tuesday when he touched on a variety of topics including his team's outlook, his own ideas for a college playoff and the SEC schedule.
When asked about the importance of the Arkansas game to South Carolina Spurrier again took the opportunity for a dig at Georgia.
"If I made the schedule, Georgia'd be playing LSU and we'd be playing Ole Miss." -- Steve Spurrier

Much to the chagrin of the Ol' Ball Coach, the Bulldogs don't play any of the projected top teams from the SEC West.
Spurrier also weighed in on the new college playoff and offered up his own scenario that a playoff should include eight teams. Six of those coming from the BCS conferences and two wild cards.
