2012 SEC Media Days: Bulldogs The Pick To Win East Division

The Georgia Bulldogs will enter the 2012 season with the favorite label after being picked by the media to take home the SEC's eastern division crown. The Bulldogs are the favorites for the first time since 2004 and are slated to meet LSU in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

"We hope the media is right," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said, "We hope we get back to Atlanta and hopefully play better this time around. Georgia's got a tremendous opportunity to win the Eastern Division."

The predicted order of finish for the east is Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky. In the west it was LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

LSU is the overwhelming favorite to win the conference with Alabama coming in second. Georgia only received 14 votes as conference champions as the West is still favored by a huge margin.
