It's no secret that Georgia's 2012 schedule could be considered favorable, compared to many other SEC teams.
But South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier offended more than one team when suggesting that, if he made the schedule, he would have Georgia play LSU and his Gamecocks play Ole Miss.
Georgia head coach Mark Richt didn't have much to say to the question about his reaction. From the Atlanta Journal Constitution:
"I'm sure there will be a year he'll be thankful for the schedule he has," Richt said.
Ole Miss coach Huge Freeze, however, didn't take too kindly to Spurrier's comment.
"2013, I think they're on our schedule. We will circle that date and look forward to maybe changing his perspective on Ole Miss football."
