Georgia Football Preseason: Bulldogs No Longer Pursuing Penn State Transfers

Mark Richt and the Bulldogs have reversed course on pursuing any transfer players from Penn State according to a release by the school on Friday. Richt originally told Bulldog Club members in Atlanta that the Bulldogs would take a look at the Penn State roster. Now however that appears to no longer be the case.

"Currently, Georgia is not pursuing any of Penn State's football players," Richt said. "We wish Coach (Bill) O'Brien and the players the best."

Georgia had sent a list of 19 players to Penn State with whom they intended to contact. There is no word as to whether or not any of the players were contacted by Richt or his staff or why the sudden reversal occurred.
