UGA Football Recruiting 2013: Trey Johnson Scheduled To Attend Dawg Night

Central Gwinnett High School's Trey Johnson will visit Georgia on as part of its annual prospect camp on July 13 and could finally receive a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs. Johnson is currently committed to Auburn and has been since last summer but plans on taking all of his official visits during his senior year and wants to be thorough in his decision.

Bulldogs linebacker coach Kirk Olivadotti was just hired when Johnson was committing to Auburn so he therefore never got an opportunity to evaluate him. That is the reason Georgia never came with a scholarship offer. Johnson grew up in Georgia and the Bulldogs were originally his favorite school. If an offer comes now it is unknown whether or not that will make a difference to Johnson.

"I don't know if it would make a difference," Johnson said. "We've just got to wait and see ... I would have to think hard about it if Georgia offered."
