Georgia Football Recruiting 2013: 4-Star Tight End Josh McNeil Is Considering UGA

Nike's recruiting extravaganza known as The Opening has attracted top talent to the Nike campus where recruits are competing in 7-on-7s and drills to size up where they belong. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound McNeil is currently a four-star recruit per Rivals and has over 20 scholarship offers.

SB Nation's recruiting analyst Bud Elliot is on the scene at Beaverton, Ore., and talked with McNeil about his recruitment and how he was doing at The Opening:

"Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Florida and Washington State," he said, adding that the schools were not in any order.

While McNeil cited the opportunity to play right away and NFL development at the former four schools, the connection with Washington State is based on a personal relationship.

"I was an East Carolina commitment for a while, but my recruiter coach left for Washington State. I want to give them a shot," he said.

McNeil has visited Alabama and Georgia. He plans to visit Florida and Miami in July. McNeil is slated to take an official to Washington State.

Here are highlights of McNeil as a junior:
