Georgia Football Preseason: Bulldogs Report For Fall Practice

While Thursday is the first day of practice for the 2012 Georgia football team, there are things that need to be taken care of beforehand.

Georgia and Auburn were the first SEC teams to have players report, which they did on Tuesday. Players will meet with coaches, get physicals and gets the little things done before practice begins. From Macon.com, here are some key dates for Georgia's fall camp:

Thursday, Aug. 2: First day of practice, media day.

Tuesday, Aug. 7: First scheduled two-a-day practice.

Saturday, Aug. 11: Next scheduled two-a-days.

Monday, Aug. 13: First day of classes.

Saturday, Aug. 18: Fan picture day at Sanford Stadium.

Monday, Aug. 27: First practice of game week in preparation for Buffalo.

There also will be some scrimmages that have yet to be scheduled.
