Da'Rick Rogers' Flip To Tennessee Doesn't Look So Bad Anymore

Remember when standout wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers was a Georgia commitment who suddenly flipped to Tennessee after the Vols offered his high school teammate Nash Nance a scholarship? Well it might not have been such a bad thing after all as the troubled star once again finds himself suspended from the Volunteer football program.

As someone who followed Da'Rick's career through two different high schools and heard the rumors and reports of suspect behavior I guess I shouldn't be terribly surprised. Then again sometimes I hope that guys like Rogers might just figure it out before it is too late.

With all of the bad press that Mark Richt and the Bulldogs have gotten for recruiting players with questionable attitudes it is a blessing in disguise for Georgia that Rogers decided to head to Knoxville. If not, Rogers would have likely became just another name in the long list of players that has exited the program rather unceremoniously of late.
