Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley has earned his second SEC Freshman of the Week award of the season. On Saturday against the Vanderbilt Commodores, Gurley ran for 130 yards with two touchdowns.
On the season, he leads the SEC in rushing yards (406), scoring (42 points) and all-purpose yards (657). At his current pace, Gurley would eclipse 1,200 yards by the end of the season.
After Saturday's game, Gurley told Seth Emerson of The Telegraph that he was amazed at what he had accomplished in his first four games, but also that he has a long way to go this season:
"Just me being a freshman, to have that amount of yards I have now, which is a blessing for me, that's just crazy," Gurley said after Saturday's game. "And I just keep trying to work hard. And hopefully I get those yards."
