The Georgia Bulldogs have seen their share of defenders on the sidelines this year due to injuries and suspensions, but Abry Jones will not be added to that list on Saturday. The defensive end, who is nursing an ankle injury, will be good to go on Saturday against Tennessee, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.
Jones didn't practice Tuesday, but Mark Richt is not concerned.
"He’ll be fine," Grantham said. "He knows the gameplan of what we’re going to do. I think it was more important for him to get rest and get some treatment and be fresh."
Jones, a senior from Warner Robbins, Ga., has 13 tackles in four games this season. For his career, he has appeared in 43 games and has recorded five sacks.
He will needed on Sunday against the Volunteers. Tennessee has the ninth best attack in the FBS this season, averaging 341.3 passing yards per game.
