Georgia Football Recruiting: Alvin Kamara to visit Alabama

Georgia continues to fight for SEC supremacy by out-recruiting Alabama.

The rivalry between the Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide extends well beyond the field and deeply into the world of recruitment.

Georgia is close to landing a very nice running back out of Norcross (Ga.) High School, Alvin Kamara, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. However, he claims that he will likely save his final visit for a trip to Tuscaloosa to visit Nick Saban and his staff.

Incredibly, Kamara is still very much undecided in this process, not even pinning down visiting dates yet as we approach signing day in a little over a month. Kamara has been quite busy in recent times, leading his high school to a state championship, which helped earn his the honor of Mr. Football by the AJC.

If Georgia can secure Kamara, it would be the second running back in this recruiting class for Mark Richt, after he already signed AJ Turman, who is thought to be ranked below Kamara.
