The Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team rolled the Presbyterian Blue Hose on Wednesday night, cruising to a 66-38 win. The Lady Bulldogs never trailed while picking up more than twice as many steals and building a +11 turnover advantage.
Jasmine Hassell led the team in scoring. The senior had 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting and 4-of-5 free throws with nine rebounds. Freshman Merritt Hempe wasn't far behind, coming off the bench to add 11 points and six rebounds. The Lady Dawgs made the most of their time at the line, shooting 12-of-16, compared to just 3-of-7 from Presbyterian.
Senior Shonda Burnside led things for Presbyterian with eight points and four assists. The Blue Hose started their season with an upset win over Clemson, but they couldn't make magic happen two games in a row.
The Lady Bulldogs next play the South Carolina State Bulldogs, with that game taking place Friday at 7 p.m ET.
