The No. 6 Georgia Lady Bulldogs scored the first 14 points and didn't look back against Lipscomb, beating the Bison in Athens 93-42.
It was clear this was a mismatch just from looking at the team's records coming in: Georgia was 10-0, and Lipscomb's only win in eight tries was against Jacksonville State. Sure enough, the disparity showed itself quickly, with the Lady Bulldogs starting with 14 unanswered and ending the first half up 49-22.
Georgia forced 33 turnovers and only allowed Lipscomb to shoot 15-for-49 from the field. Jasmine James and Tiaria Griffin led the way for the Lady Bulldogs, each registering 18 points. Georgia not only shot over 50 percent from the floor, they also grabbed 16 offensive rebounds, meaning they grabbed nearly half of their misses as well.
Next up for the Lady Bulldogs is TCU, as Georgia only has two games remaining before the beginning of their SEC schedule.
