The Georgia Lady Bulldogs will look to win their ninth game in a row to open the season when they take on Georgia Tech on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
Georgia is 30-4 all-time against Georgia Tech but the Yellow Jackets have won the last two meetings in Atlanta between the two teams in 2010 and 2008, according to Roger Clarkson of Dogbytes Online.
Georgia is coming off an 83-47 win over Furman in which four different Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures. Georgia has won seven games in a row by double figures in which their average margin of victory has been 27.6 points. The Lady Bulldogs' closest game this year was their season opener against Rutgers which they won, 57-51.
Georgia Tech is 3-3 this season and coming off an 85-73 loss to No. 14 Purdue. The Yellow Jackets also lost to No. 20 Tennessee, 71-54, on Nov. 11.
Georgia is ranked eighth this season.
