The No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs put their undefeated record on the line against Georgia Tech at Alexander Memorial Coliseum and came out untouched, improving to 9-0 on the season with a 60-50 win over the Yellow Jackets.
After leading by 13 at halftime, the Bulldogs had a simple task in the second half and that was to protect their double-digit lead. They did just that, despite the Yellow Jackets outscoring the Bulldogs in the second half.
Jasmine Hassell scored a game high 22 points on an incredibly efficient 10 of 13 field goal attempts from the floor while also collecting seven rebounds in a team high 32 minutes for the lady Bulldogs. Khaalidah Miller also chipped in with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist for Georgia.
Meanwhile for Georgia Tech, Aaliyah Whiteside did all she can to help the Yellow Jackets win the game, filling up the box score in just 19 minutes played with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a pair of steals.
