Jasmine James scored 16 points and Jasmine Hassell pulled down eight rebounds to help lead the Georgia Lady Bulldogs past the Missouri Tigers in the teams' first meeting as SEC foes in the 2012-13 season at Stegeman Coliseum.
The No. 10 Lady Bulldogs got out to an early lead behind James and Hassell, along with some early 3-pointers from Shacobla Barbee and Marjorie Butler to help build an early 10-point lead.
Butler would finish the night with 11 points to go with two assists and three rebounds while Barbee's 3-pointer to open the game accounted for three of her five points on the night.
Khaalidah Miller finished with four rebounds and 11 points as one of the three Lady Bulldogs to finish in double figures against the Tigers and helped to keep Missouri's offense from producing much in the first half.
Missouri's Morgan Eye, who finished with 13 points, gave the Tigers a bit of a boost as the first half came to a close, but the Lady Bulldogs still held a 22-point lead at the break. Brianna Kulas led Missouri with 14 points.
From there Georgia was able to coast to their eventual 31-point victory, utilizing another strong defensive half against the Tigers to capture their 13th win of the season.
