The Georgia Bulldogs will close out their non-conference slate on Friday when they host the George Washington Colonials at Stegeman Coliseum. The Bulldogs will be looking for their fourth straight win after starting the season 2-7.
Georgia has beaten Mercer, USC and Florida A&M during their streak. The Bulldogs beat the Rattlers 82-73 last Saturday behind a career-high 21 points from Nemanja Djurisic off the bench.
George Washington (6-6) has beaten VMI and Sacred Heart after losing three games in a row to Bradley, Kansas State and Rutgers. The Colonials' 77-38 victory over Sacred Heart was the school's largest victory in five seasons.
Georgia's offense has struggled much of the year, scoring just 61.3 points per game. Things have improved a bit during their recent run, as Djurisic along with freshmen Charles Mann and Brandon Morris have provided more support for leading scorer Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
George Washington is one of the better rebounding teams in the country, coming in at 33rd in rebounds per game. Isaiah Armwood is a force to be reckoned with down low, as he's averaging 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.1 blocks on the season.
